Does Niasse still have a future at Everton after Tosun arrival?

The Everton striker is unlikely to play regularly following the club’s transfer activity.
The signing of Cenk Tosun from Besiktas has inevitably generated a huge amount of excitement amongst Everton supporters, but one individual who might not be quite so excited is fellow striker Oumar Niasse.
Last week, after much speculation, Everton completed a deal to sign Tosun for £27 million, as reported by Sky Sports.
Tosun has been in prolific form for Besiktas this season – he scored eight goals in 16 league games for the Turkish club – and he will be determined to make an instant impact at Everton.
Niasse, meanwhile, will be pushed further down the pecking order following Tosun’s arrival and could now find his playing time for Everton severely restricted.
After so long in the wilderness, Niasse stepped up to become a likely hero for Everton earlier in the season as he scored six goals in nine games.
However, he has now gone six games without finding the net and knows that, with Tosun now at the club, his chances of playing a significant role for Sam Allardyce’s side are set to be reduced significantly.
Perhaps the best option would be for Niasse to seek a move away from Everton in this transfer window as he would benefit from playing regularly elsewhere, and in all likelihood would be very much on the fringes should he remain at Goodison Park.
